This document is the instruction manual of HI 9043 and HI 9044 portable microprocessor K-type thermocouple thermometers, introducing the product features and characteristics including temperature measurement range, temperature resolution, display mode, measurement unit, low battery detection etc.
The HI 9043 and HI 9044 are microprocessor-based thermometers designed to measure temperature using K-type thermocouple probes. The non-linearity of the probe is linearized by the internal microprocessor, ensuring accurate readings across a wide range. Standard features include a dual-level LCD for displaying maximum and minimum temperatures, display hold functionality, selectable measurement units (°C or °F), and an automatic resolution switch.
| Range | -50.0 to 1350°C / -58.0 to 2462°F |
|---|---|
| Resolution | 0.1°C (up to 199.9°C) / 1°C (outside) |
| Accuracy | +0.2% FS. |
| Battery Type | 1 x 9V (IEC 6LR61) |
| Dimensions | 180 x 83 x 40 mm |
The instrument is powered by a 9V (IEC 6LR61) battery.
Press the HOLD key to freeze the measured temperature on the display until pressed again.
A warning symbol blinks on the display, and the unit turns off to prevent erroneous readings via the BEPS system.
