This is the Aprilaire® Zoned Comfort Control System manual, which introduces the design purpose, composition and usage of the system.
The Aprilaire Zoned Comfort Control System is designed to increase home comfort and reduce energy costs by directing conditioned air only to zones that require it. The system consists of thermostats, a control panel, and air control dampers located in the ducts.
This document covers operation for Models 6202 (two zones) and 6203 (three zones), which work with single-stage heat/cool equipment, as well as Model 6303 (two or three zones) designed for heat pumps. It includes instructions for heating, cooling, emergency heat, damper operation, fan control, and system shutdown.
