About this manual

CombiZorb MP-Isocyanate is a solid-supported reagent designed to scavenge primary and secondary amines, anilines, hydrazines, and other nucleophiles. It consists of spherical, macroporous polystyrene/DVB particles with a density of 0.6 g/ml and a particle size range of 30-100 µm.

The material is compatible with common solvents such as THF, toluene, DMF, i-PrOH, and methanol (up to 50-60% loading capacity). It selectively removes amines in the presence of alcohols due to their higher reactivity towards isocyanates. Typical usage involves adding 2-4 equivalents relative to nucleophiles at ambient temperature with gentle agitation for 2-5 hours.
