TEA1065 is a bipolar integrated circuit produced by Philips. It can complete telephone dialing and voice transmission functions, and has functions such as adjustable static resistance, power supply for external circuitry, symmetrical high impedance input, asymmetrical high impedance input, digital pulse input, receiving amplifier, line loss compensation, adjustable gain control, DC line voltage adjustment.
The TEA1065 is a bipolar integrated circuit designed to perform all speech and line interface functions required in fully electronic telephone sets. It features adjustable gain settings for microphone and earpiece amplifiers and includes a current and voltage regulator made with adjustable static resistances.
The circuit supports both pulse and DTMF dialling, providing a digital pulse input to drive an external switch transistor. It includes a mute input, a power-down input, and a receiving amplifier compatible with magnetic, dynamic, or piezoelectric earpieces. The device also offers line loss compensation and a facility for adjusting the DC line voltage.
