This document introduces a method for controlling Hitachi HPLC by Agilent, which can quickly set all instrument parameters for pumps, ovens, autosampler and detectors. Graphic displays make it easy to view all current settings. The control software supports both the Hitachi LaChrom HPLC and the LaChrom Elite HPLC.
The Hitachi HPLC Control Software for EZChrom Elite™ CDS and Agilent OL provides a unified interface to set instrument parameters, create methods, and manage data for Hitachi LaChrom and LaChrom Elite systems. It supports multiple vendor instruments and offers graphical displays for real‑time monitoring.
Key capabilities include full pump and detector control, protected data acquisition during network outages, extensive data analysis tools, and integration with Agilent OL for secure data management and searchable archives. Firmware version requirements for each supported module are listed in the document.

The software supports a range of Hitachi LaChrom and LaChrom Elite modules, including D7000 A/D, L-7100 Pump, L-7200/7250 Autosampler, L-7300 Oven, L-7400/7420 UV Detector, L-7480/7485 Fluor Detector, L-7450/7420/7455 DAD, and several others.
Up to four Hitachi HPLC systems with 2D detectors, or two systems with PDA detectors, can be connected to one Agilent Instrument Controller.
Version 890-8110-02 or later is required for the L-2100/2130 Pump.
