This document details the settings available in Play mode for the Yamaha RM50 rhythm machine. It explains how to assign rhythm kits or pitched voices to MIDI channels and manage channel modes.
The guide also covers special utility functions accessible from this mode, such as Display Chase, Input Monitor, and Key Macro operations (Playback, Record, View, and Name).
The RM50 will ignore note information received on that specific MIDI channel.
Each macro can include up to 50 steps.
Press the [SHIFT] and [UTILITY] keys to change the setting.
