This manual describes the features and usage of the Yamaha HS850/HS740A/HS650A hi-hat stand.
Thank you for purchasing a Yamaha Hi-Hat Stand. Before use, please read this owner's manual thoroughly and carefully review the "Safety precautions" section to understand the correct operation of the instrument. The Hi-Hat Stand can be used with drums, cymbals, sticks, or alone. If a child is to use the instrument, especially a young child, have a family member or teacher instruct them on how to use it properly.
To prevent accidents and injury, always follow the listed cautions. Icons are used to indicate and explain precautions to promote safe use. If symbols are ignored and the equipment is used improperly, fatal injury or serious damage could occur. Take special care when touching portions close to pointed or edged parts, such as the stopper of the Hi-Hat Stand. Do not place hands or feet below the footboard or near moving parts to avoid pinching injuries. Firmly tighten all fixing and adjustment bolts to prevent them from loosening during use. Occasionally apply a small amount of lubricant, such as grease, to moving parts to maintain smooth operation.
