The AD14160/AD14160L is a single-chip quad-core DSP device from Analog Devices that has a peak performance of 480MFLOPS and a sustained performance of 320MFLOPS.
The AD14160 and AD14160L are Quad-SHARC DSP multiprocessors that integrate the power of the first-generation AD14060 into a high-density Ceramic Ball Grid Array (CBGA) package. This device features four ADSP-21060 core processors, delivering 480 MFLOPS peak performance and 320 MFLOPS sustained performance within a single chip.
The architecture includes 16 Mbits of shared SRAM internal to the SHARC cores and supports up to 4 Gigawords of addressable off-module memory. The device provides sixteen 40 Mbyte/s link ports (four per SHARC) for high-speed inter-processor communication and eight independent serial ports, operating at either 5 V or 3.3 V.
