About this manual

The IMP37 series consists of three-terminal low dropout (LDO) voltage regulators designed to provide guaranteed low dropout voltages at currents up to 0.8A. The family features fixed output voltages of 2.5V, 3.0V, and 3.3V, which are factory trimmed to within 1% of the nominal value.

Key characteristics include greatly reduced quiescent operating current (75µA maximum), short circuit protection, and a thermal protection circuit that shuts off the regulator if the junction temperature exceeds 165°C. The devices are available in SOT-223 and TO-263 packages and are pin compatible with fixed '1117' type regulators.
