Open the battery compartment on the back of the computer, insert a new LR44 (a76, AG13, or V13GA) with the positive pole toward the cap, then re‑initiate the unit.
Hold down the Mode button until the LCD digits disappear, then release; the AVG, DST, TM and MAX values will be cleared to zero.
Mark the wheel’s lowest point, roll the bike forward to mark the second point, measure the distance in millimetres, and enter that value in the wheel‑circumference setting screen.
After about four minutes of inactivity the unit automatically switches off and only shows the clock to preserve battery life.
