This document is the data sheet of PIC16C55X(A) series microcontrollers, which introduces the features and characteristics of the series microcontrollers
The PIC16C55X(A) family are 18‑ and 20‑pin EPROM‑based 8‑bit microcontrollers from Microchip. They feature a high‑performance RISC core with only 35 instructions, single‑cycle execution, an 8‑level hardware stack, and multiple interrupt sources. The devices offer 13 I/O pins, an 8‑bit timer/counter with programmable prescaler, and a range of oscillator options for low‑cost or high‑speed applications.
The data sheet provides detailed electrical specifications, memory organization, pin diagrams for PDIP, SOIC and SSOP packages, and information on development support, programming options, and ordering details. It also lists power consumption figures and voltage ranges for the various device variants.
