This document is about the CS4923/4/5/6/7/8/9 multi-channel digital audio decoders, including product features, functions, application scenarios, etc.
The CS4923/4/5/6/7/8/9 family are multi‑channel digital audio decoders used in home A/V receivers, DVD players, set‑top boxes and similar equipment. The CS4929 variant is a stereo AAC and MPEG‑2 decoder, while the other members support Dolby Digital, DTS and MPEG‑2 multi‑channel decoding.
The datasheet lists electrical characteristics, pin assignments, timing diagrams, and recommended operating conditions. It also includes ordering information, typical connection diagrams, and details on host interfaces such as Intel, Motorola and SPI modes.
