This document introduces the characteristics of the AD7276/AD7277/AD7278 three high-performance ADCs, including sampling rate, power consumption, bandwidth, accuracy, etc.
The AD7276/AD7277/AD7278 family are successive‑approximation analog‑to‑digital converters offering 12‑, 10‑, and 8‑bit resolution respectively. They operate from a single 2.35 V to 3.6 V supply, provide up to 3 MSPS throughput, and feature a low‑noise, wide‑bandwidth track‑and‑hold front‑end.
The devices are offered in 6‑lead TSOT and 8‑lead MSOP packages, include internal reference derived from VDD, and support SPI, QSPI, Microwire, and DSP‑compatible serial interfaces. Detailed specifications, timing diagrams, and ordering information are provided in the document.
| Resolution | 12 bits (AD7276), 10 bits (AD7277), 8 bits (AD7278) |
|---|---|
| Throughput Rate | 3 MSPS (AD7276/AD7277), 4 MSPS (AD7278) |
| Power Consumption (typical, operational) | 12.6 mW (AD7276), 10.5 mW (AD7277), 10.5 mW (AD7278) |

The AD7276 can sample at up to 3 MSPS.
They operate from a single supply of 2.35 V to 3.6 V.
Both 6‑lead TSOT and 8‑lead MSOP packages are offered.
Typical full power‑down current is 0.1 pA.
