About this manual

The LM5100A/LM5101A high‑voltage gate drivers are designed to drive both the high‑side and low‑side N‑Channel MOSFETs in synchronous buck, half‑bridge, and full‑bridge configurations. The floating high‑side driver operates with supply voltages up to 100 V, while the low‑side driver handles the same voltage range. Input thresholds are CMOS for the LM5100A and TTL for the LM5101A, and an integrated bootstrap diode supplies the high‑side gate drive.

The devices are offered in SOIC‑8 and LLP‑10 packages, with detailed electrical characteristics, switching performance, and mechanical dimensions provided. Typical applications include current‑fed push‑pull converters, half‑ and full‑bridge power converters, and forward converters with active clamp.
