About this manual

The MAX9710 (stereo) and MAX9711 (mono) audio power amplifiers operate from a single 4.5 V‑5.5 V supply and deliver up to 3 W into a 3 Ω load. They feature industry‑leading 100 dB power‑supply rejection, ultra‑low 0.005 % THD+N, click‑and‑pop suppression, a 0.5 µA shutdown mode and a mute input.

Both devices are supplied in thin‑QFN packages (20‑pin for MAX9710, 12‑pin for MAX9711) and are rated for –40 °C to +85 °C operation. Thermal‑overload protection shuts the output off at 160 °C, and proper PCB layout and grounding are recommended for optimal performance.
