The MAX98309/MAX98310 are mono 1.4W class AB audio amplifiers with low quiescent current, excellent SNR, and low 0.008% THD+N. They feature excellent 90dB PSRR and state of the art click-and-pop suppression.
The MAX98309 and MAX98310 are single‑ended, 1.4 W Class‑AB audio amplifier ICs offered in a 9‑bump WLP package. They operate from a 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply, provide low quiescent current, and feature industry‑leading click‑and‑pop suppression and a 90 dB power‑supply rejection ratio.
Both devices support differential (BTL) output configurations and include selectable gain options: the MAX98310 has four internally fixed gains (0 dB, 3 dB, 6 dB, 9 dB) while the MAX98309 uses external resistors for gain setting. Turn‑on time is pin‑selectable for the MAX98309 (10 ms or 100 ms) and fixed at 5 ms for the MAX98310. The amplifiers operate over –40 °C to +85 °C and include thermal‑overload and short‑circuit protection.
