About this manual

The KNIPEX 64 series of electronics Vornschneider (cutting pliers) are designed for precision work in electronics and fine mechanics. They feature a small facet tip, two‑colour multi‑component grip shells, and are made from special tool steel hardened to 6 µ and annealed for durability. The pliers are ESD‑safe, allowing controlled discharge of electrostatic energy to protect sensitive components.

Three form variants are offered (Form 1, Form 3, Form 6) with different cutting lengths and capacities. Detailed dimensions, cutting values and ordering numbers (EAN, part numbers) are listed, along with references to relevant standards such as IEC TR 61340‑5, DIN EN 61340‑5 and SP Method 2472.
