This document mainly introduces the technical features of the five diodes B2060, B2070, B2080, B2090, B20100, including voltage, current, temperature and other indicators.
The Motorola MBR series Schottky barrier power rectifiers are 20 A devices (10 A per diode leg) featuring low forward voltage, high surge capacity, and a 150 °C operating junction temperature. They are supplied in an epoxy‑molded TO‑220AB package with corrosion‑resistant surfaces and lead temperature rating of 260 °C for up to 10 seconds.
Electrical specifications include peak repetitive reverse voltages ranging from 60 V (MBR2060CT) to 100 V (MBR20100CT), average forward current of 10 A, and non‑repetitive surge current of 150 A. Thermal characteristics show a junction‑to‑case resistance of 2.0 °C/W and junction‑to‑ambient resistance of 60 °C/W. Mechanical data list package dimensions and weight (≈1.9 g).
| Total Forward Current | 20 A (10 A per diode leg) |
|---|---|
| Peak Repetitive Reverse Voltage (VRRM) | 60 V – 100 V (model dependent) |
| Maximum Thermal Resistance (Junction‑to‑Case) | 2.0 °C/W |
| Operating Junction Temperature Range | -65 °C to +150 °C |
| Package Type | TO‑220AB (epoxy, molded) |
| Lead Soldering Temperature | 260 °C max for 10 seconds |
Each diode leg can handle up to 10 A, giving a total of 20 A for the device.
The MBR2080CT is rated for a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 80 V.
The leads may be soldered at up to 260 °C for a maximum of 10 seconds.
The case is made of epoxy and is molded.
