G5130/G5131 is a PSM step-up DC/DC converter from GMT. It is suitable for 1~4 cell alkaline batteries. The output voltage range is 2.5V~5.0V with 0.1V increments.
The G5130/G5131 boost converters are designed as power sources for portable equipment such as handheld computers, digital cameras, cellular phones and multimedia players. They require only three external components (an inductor, a diode and a capacitor) to build a complete power application, and the G5131 can drive an external NPN device for higher output power.
Key features include a 1‑4 cell alkaline battery operating range, output voltage adjustability from 2.5 V to 5.0 V in 0.1 V steps, up to 100 kHz oscillation frequency, 75 % duty ratio, up to 80 % efficiency, and a temperature coefficient better than 100 ppm/°C. The devices are offered in compact SOT‑23‑5 and SOT‑89 packages.
