AD8591/AD8592/AD8594 is a CMOS single supply operational amplifier produced by Analog Devices, USA. It has the characteristics of single supply operation, high output current, extremely low shutdown supply current, low power consumption, wide bandwidth, high transient response speed, no phase reversal, extremely low input bias current and high impedance output.
The AD8591/AD8592/AD8594 family consists of single, dual and quad CMOS operational amplifiers that operate from a single supply of +2.5 V to +6 V. They provide rail‑to‑rail input and output ranges, high output drive of 250 mA, and a power‑saving shutdown function that reduces supply current to as low as 100 nA.
These devices are suited for mobile communication handsets, PC audio, battery‑powered instrumentation, LCD reference drivers and other applications requiring high output current and low quiescent power. The AD8591 is offered in a 6‑lead SOT package, the AD8592 in a 10‑lead uSOIC, and the AD8594 in 16‑lead narrow‑SOIC and 16‑lead TSSOP packages.
| Supply Voltage Range | +2.5 V to +6 V |
|---|---|
| Output Current | 250 mA |
| Slew Rate | 5 V/µs |
| Input Bias Current | 50 pA |
| Input Offset Voltage | 25 mV |
The amplifiers can source or sink up to 250 mA of output current.
In shutdown mode the supply current can be as low as 100 nA, and for the AD8592 each amplifier can drop to 1 pA.
They operate from a single supply voltage of +2.5 V to +6 V.
