TG1000/2000 is a value-for-money 10MHz or 20MHz function generator with the precision of Direct Digital Synthesis.
The TG1000 (10 MHz) and TG2000 (20 MHz) function generators use Direct Digital Synthesis to produce waveforms from 1 mHz up to their maximum frequency. They provide 6‑digit (1 mHz) resolution, ±10 ppm yearly accuracy, and low distortion (<0.3 % THD). Output levels range from 5 mV to 20 V pk‑pk into 50 Ω or 600 Ω, with selectable impedance and optional DC offset.
Both models feature a 20‑character × 4‑line LCD, nine user‑memory slots, and full remote control via RS‑232 (up to 32 instruments) and USB (TG2000 only). Modulation options include continuous, gated, AM, FSK and tone switching, with sweep capabilities that are linear or logarithmic and phase‑continuous. The instruments operate from 100 V AC (110‑120 V or 220‑240 V) and weigh about 2 kg.
