This document describes the features and characteristics of Fluke PM5136, PM5138A, and PM5139 synthesized function generators, including frequency range, output voltage, and arbitrary waveform memory.
The Fluke PM5136/PM5138A/PM5139 series are low‑cost, high‑performance function generators covering frequencies from 0.1 mHz up to 20 MHz. They feature a large back‑lit LCD, menu‑driven operation, and up to 40 Vpp output with selectable 50 Ω or 600 Ω impedance. All three models support 24 non‑volatile arbitrary waveform memories and include optional GPIB/IEEE‑488.2 or RS‑232 interfaces for PC control.
Technical specifications include low distortion (<0.4 % THD), high accuracy, multiple standard waveforms, and extensive modulation options such as AM, FM, burst, sweep, gate and PSK. The units are CE‑marked, operate from 100‑240 V line voltage, and are supplied with accessories like BNC adapters and rack‑mount kits.
