LTC3733/LTC3733-1 is a 3-phase buck controller for AMD CPUs, with features such as Burst Mode, OPTI-LOOP, and PolyPhase.
The LTC3733 family provides poly‑phase synchronous step‑down regulation for high‑performance notebook computers, servers and workstations. It drives external N‑channel MOSFETs in a fixed‑frequency, phase‑locked architecture, offering up to 530 kHz per phase and current‑mode control for accurate current sharing.
The device includes a differential amplifier for true remote sensing, programmable VID output voltage (0.8 V‑1.55 V), soft‑start, short‑circuit protection, and optional burst‑mode operation. It is offered in 36‑lead SSOP and 38‑lead QFN packages.
