About this manual

The TPS6205x family (TPS62050, TPS62051, TPS62052, TPS62054, TPS62056) are high‑efficiency synchronous step‑down DC/DC converters designed for battery‑powered devices such as cellular phones, PDAs, digital cameras and low‑power DSP supplies. They operate from 2.7 V to 10 V input and provide adjustable output from 0.7 V to 6 V or fixed options of 1.5 V, 1.8 V and 3.3 V, delivering up to 800 mA.

The devices feature internal N‑ and P‑channel MOSFETs, a soft‑start circuit, over‑temperature and over‑current protection, and can be synchronized to an external clock up to 1.2 MHz. They are offered in a 10‑pin MSOP (DGS) package and operate over a –40 °C to 85 °C temperature range.
