LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LT1308A/LT1308B Manual

The LT1308A/LT1308B are high current, micropower single cell, 600kHz DC/DC converters. They can provide 5V at 1A from a single Li-Ion cell, or 5V at 800mA in SEPIC mode from four NiCd cells. The converters operate at a fixed frequency and have automatic Burst Mode/continuous switching at light loads. They are suitable for applications such as GSM/CDMA phones, digital cameras, LCD bias supplies, battery backup supplies, and handheld computers.
