National Semiconductor LM1270 handbook(1)(1)

The LM1270 is a supplementary IC to the low cost chipset (LCCS). It modifies the video stream prior to the LCCS preamplifier and enhances pictures or motion video through special intermediate frequency boosting. The LM1270 also has other functions such as measuring the length of active video and front porch time, calibration mode for determining image coordinates, data receiver for receiving data encoded on video, window highlight feature, and video source selection.
