The ADE7758 is a high-accuracy, multifunction poly phase energy metering IC. It supports IEC 60687, IEC 61036, IEC 61268, IEC 62053-21, IEC 62053-22, and IEC 62053-23 standards, and supports 3-phase/3-wire, 3-phase/4-wire, and other 3-phase power systems. The dynamic range is 1000:1, and the measurement accuracy is less than 0.1% at 25℃. It can provide active power, reactive power, apparent power, RMS voltage, RMS current, and sampled waveform data. It has two pulse outputs, one for active power and the other selectable between reactive and apparent power with programmable frequency. The digital power, phase, and RMS offset calibration functions are supported. The line voltage SAG and overvoltage detection functions with user-programmable thresholds are supported. The digital integrator enables direct interface-to-current sensors with di/dt output. The current channel has a PGA to improve current measurement accuracy.
The ADE7758 is a poly‑phase multifunction energy‑metering integrated circuit designed for 3‑phase, 3‑wire or 4‑wire services. It measures active, reactive and apparent energy, provides voltage and current RMS values, and offers a waveform sampling register for detailed analysis.
Key features include less than 0.1 % active‑energy error over a 1000:1 dynamic range, two configurable pulse outputs, on‑chip programmable voltage‑SAG and over‑voltage thresholds, and a SPI‑compatible serial interface. The device is supplied from a single 5 V source, operates from –40 °C to +85 °C, and is available in a 24‑lead wide‑body SOIC package.
