The ADV7181B is a multiformat SDTV video decoder supporting NTSC-(M, J, 4.43), PAL-(B/D/G/H/I/M/N), SECAM. It integrates three 54 MHz, 9-bit ADCs with a clock frequency of 27 MHz and supports ADDLT™, signal processing and FIFO management.
The ADV7181B is a single‑chip multiformat video decoder that automatically detects and converts NTSC, PAL, and SECAM standards from composite, S‑Video, or component inputs into a digital ITU‑R BT.656 output. It integrates three 9‑bit, 54 MHz ADCs, a line‑locked clock architecture, and adaptive digital line‑length tracking for reliable performance with noisy sources such as VCRs and tuners.
The datasheet provides full electrical, video, timing, analog, and thermal specifications, as well as package options (LFCSP and LQFP), power‑supply requirements, and an ordering guide. Application areas include DVD recorders, set‑top boxes, security systems, automotive entertainment, and other video processing equipment.
