About this manual

The ADV202 is a single‑chip JPEG2000 compression and decompression solution for video and still images. It supports both 9/7 and 5/3 wavelet transforms, up to six levels of transform, and programmable tile sizes up to 4096 pixels. The device includes a dedicated wavelet engine, three entropy codecs, on‑board memory, and an embedded RISC processor.

The handbook covers functional block diagrams, timing specifications, host interface details, and ordering information for the various speed‑grade and package options (121‑lead and 144‑lead CSPBGA). It also lists supply voltage ranges, current consumption, and I/O characteristics needed for system integration.
