ADP2300/ADP2301 is a nonsynchronous step-down regulator with a maximum load current of 1.2A. It features high efficiency, wide input voltage range, and current-mode control architecture.
The ADP2300 and ADP2301 are compact, constant‑frequency, current‑mode step‑down DC‑DC regulators with an integrated high‑side MOSFET. They operate from 3.0 V to 20 V input and can deliver up to 1.2 A output, with selectable switching frequencies of 700 kHz (ADP2300) or 1.4 MHz (ADP2301). Key features include high efficiency (up to 91 %), internal soft‑start, UVLO, over‑current protection, and an integrated bootstrap diode.
Typical applications cover LDO replacement, intermediate power rail conversion, communications, industrial instrumentation, and medical devices. The datasheet includes design examples, component selection guidelines, and performance curves to aid engineers in implementing the regulator in their circuits.
