About this manual

The ADP1111 is a low‑power switch‑mode regulator that can operate from 2 V to 30 V input and provide step‑up, step‑down, or inverting conversion with only a few external components. Fixed‑output versions (3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V) and an adjustable version are offered, delivering up to 200 mA at 5 V in step‑down mode.

Typical applications include laptop and palmtop computers, cellular phones, flash memory VPP generators, remote controls, battery‑backup and uninterruptible supplies, and portable instruments. The device features an internal 1 A power switch, user‑adjustable current limit, low‑battery detection, and a 72 kHz oscillator.
