About this manual

The AD5541 and AD5542 are single‑supply, 16‑bit voltage‑output DACs with serial‑input interfaces compatible with SPI, QSPI and Microwire. They operate from 2.7 V to 5.5 V and provide unbuffered outputs capable of driving 60 kΩ loads directly. Typical power consumption is low (≈0.6 mW at 5 V) and the devices offer fast settling (≈1 µs) and high accuracy (±1 LSB INL).

The document includes functional block diagrams, pin‑out tables, absolute maximum ratings, timing characteristics, and extensive performance graphs. It also describes bipolar operation for the AD5542, reference‑input configurations, and recommended PCB layout considerations.
