About this manual

The AD7866 is a dual‑channel, 12‑bit successive‑approximation ADC that delivers up to 1 MSPS conversion rate while consuming as little as 11.4 mW at 3 V. It supports a wide input bandwidth, on‑board 2.5 V reference, and flexible power/throughput management, making it suitable for microprocessor or DSP interfacing.

The device is offered in a 20‑lead thin‑shrink small‑outline (TSSOP) package and operates from 2.7 V to 5.25 V analog and digital supplies. It provides simultaneous conversion on both channels, selectable input ranges (0 V‑Vpp or 2×Vpp), and output coding (straight binary or two’s‑complement). Detailed pin configurations, timing specifications, and absolute maximum ratings are included for designers.
