About this manual

The VF51RG regeneration converter is designed for continuous regeneration or high‑peak regeneration back to the utility power source and is used together with Drivecon VF5100HG series inverters. The manual describes the control system, which uses a fixed phase‑angle firing scheme and a reverse‑parallel transistor/diode bridge to achieve stable DC‑bus voltage and controlled power direction.

Key features include several protective functions such as high‑speed current limits (FCL1, FCL2), over‑current and overload trips, DC low‑voltage shutdown, and phase‑loss detection. Installation guidelines, wiring diagrams, LED indicator meanings, and external relay contacts are also covered, along with technical specifications for various voltage classes.
