Do NOT locate this Smoke/CO Alarm in garages, kitchens, furnace rooms, crawl spaces, unfinished attics, near combustion sources, within 5 ft of cooking appliances, in humid areas, near fluorescent lights, in turbulent air, or where temperature is below 40 °F or above 100 °F.

How do you test the alarm?

Press and hold the Test/Silence button until you hear the acknowledge “chirp” or the unit sounds the alarm.
