Press the clock button for more than 2 seconds; the hour indicator flashes, then you can adjust hour and minute which also flash in turn.
Press the child‑lock/setting key; the child‑lock symbol lights indicating lock and the hot‑water key is disabled. Press the key again to turn off the symbol and unlock.
Verify that the water tank contains water, that the thermal protector is not tripped, and that the heating element is functioning.
