The Prostar 6910 is an enterprise‑class 4 GB full‑fibre storage server offering up to 168 TB of capacity and high‑performance I/O for data‑intensive applications such as OLTP and data mining. It features dual active RAID controllers, optional cache up to 16 GB with battery backup, and hot‑swap redundant components for maximum availability.
The included SANtricity management software provides unified control, online expansion, and data protection features like DAC storage technology. The system supports a wide range of operating systems and can be expanded to 224 drives across 14 enclosures, delivering up to 575 000 IOPS and 1.7 GB/s cache throughput.
