The SNC-DF series is a small, dome-shaped network camera from Sony. It features an integrated network server and a network interface, which allows users to control the camera and monitor the image through the network. These cameras support MPEG-4 and JPEG compression formats, which allow smooth video/audio transmission and high-quality still images on multiple network bandwidths. In addition, this camera series is equipped with an external microphone input and an audio line output for active speakers, which allows audio monitoring and sound alarms at the monitoring site.
The Sony SNC‑DF series includes the SNC‑DF40P and SNC‑DF70P small half‑ball camcorders. They provide high‑quality video and audio using MPEG‑4 and JPEG formats, and feature a compact hemispherical design suitable for indoor and outdoor installation such as building entrances, schools, and retail stores.
The manual details installation options (wall‑mount and ceiling‑mount), network connectivity (100Base‑TX/10Base‑T RJ‑45), power options (AC24 V, DC12 V, PoE), and technical specifications such as sensor type, resolution, frame rates, audio codecs, IP66 protection for the DF70 model, and night‑vision capabilities. This manual is written in Chinese.
