What AL.37 means

Parameter error p. 200

Common causes

  • 1. Servo amplifier fault caused the parameter setting to be rewritten. p. 200
  • 2. Regenerative brake option not used with servo amplifier was selected in parameter No.0. p. 200
  • 3. The number of write times to EEPROM exceeded 100,000 due to parameter write, etc. p. 200
  • 4. The alarm code output (parameter No.49) was set by the absolute position detection system. p. 200
  • 5. The alarm code output (parameter No.49) was set with the electromagnetic brake interlock (MBR) assigned to pin CN1B-19. p. 200

What to do

  1. Power OFF→ON p. 200
  2. Press "SET" on current alarm screen. p. 200
  3. Alarm reset (RES) p. 200
  4. Change the servo amplifier. p. 200
  5. Set parameter No.0 correctly. p. 200
  6. The absolute position detection system and the alarm code output function are exclusive. Set as either one of the two is used. p. 200
  7. The signal assignment function of the electromagnetic interlock (MBR) to pin CN1B-19 and the alarm code output function are exclusive. Set as either one of the two is used. p. 200

Before you service the product, read the safety instructions in the manual p. 3.

If AL.37 is still not resolved

  • contact service / dealer p. 3
“Do not attempt to install, operate, maintain or inspect the servo amplifier and servo motor until you have read through this Instruction Manual, Installation guide, Servo motor Instruction Manual and appended documents carefully and can use the equipment correctly.”
  • contact service / dealer p. 4
“Do not attempt to wire the servo amplifier and servo motor until they have been installed. Otherwise, you may get an electric shock.”
