UCC28C4x family are high performance current mode PWM controllers featuring 2.3 mA operating current, 25 ns rise and 20 ns fall time rail-to-rail output swings, ±1 A peak output current, 35 ns cycle-by-cycle overcurrent limiting, 1 MHz operation, suitable for switch mode power supplies, DC-DC converters and board mount power modules.

The TL284x and TL384x series of control integrated circuits provide the features necessary to implement off-line or dc-to-dc fixed-frequency current-mode control schemes with a minimum number of external components. Some of the internally implemented circuits are an undervoltage lockout (UVLO) with a start-up current of less than 1 mA and a precision reference trimmed for accuracy at the error amplifier input. Other internal circuits include logic for latched operation, a pulse-width modulation (PWM) comparator (that also provides current-limit control), and a totem-pole output stage designed to source or sink high-peak current. The output stage, suitable for driving N-channel MOSFETs, is low when it is in the off state. Major differences between members of these series are the UVLO thresholds and maximum duty-cycle ranges.

The TPA302 is a stereo audio power amplifier from TI that can deliver 300mW of continuous average power into an 8-ohm load at less than 0.06% THD+N from a 5-V power supply or up to 300mW at 1% THD+N.

Low-voltage adjustable precision shunt regulators

The TLV277x CMOS operational amplifier family combines high slew rate and bandwidth, rail-to-rail output swing, high output drive, and excellent dc precision.

The XTR110 is a precision voltage-to-current converter designed for analog signal transmission. It accepts inputs of 0 to 5V or 0 to 10V and can be connected for outputs of 4 to 20mA, 0 to 20mA, 5 to 25mA and many other commonly used ranges.

The XTR106 4-20mA current transmitter with Bridge Excitation and Linearization has low total unadjusted error, 2.5V or 5V bridge excitation reference, 5.1V regulator output, low span drift: ±25ppm/°C max, low offset drift: 0.25µV/°C, high PSR: 110dB min, high CMR: 86dB min, wide supply range: 7.5V to 36V, and is used in pressure bridge transmitters, strain gage transmitters, temperature bridge transmitters, industrial process control, SCADA remote data acquisition, remote transducers, weighing systems, and accelerometers.

The XTR112 and XTR114 are monolithic 4-20mA, two-wire current transmitters. They provide complete current excitation for high impedance platinum RTD temperature sensors and bridges, instrumentation amplifier, and current output circuitry on a single integrated circuit.

The RTD XTR105 is a 4-20mA current transmitter with sensor excitation and linearization features. It has low offset drift, low output current noise, high PSR, and high CMR. It is suitable for applications such as industrial process control, factory automation, SCADA remote data acquisition, and remote temperature and pressure transducers.

The XTR115 and XTR116 are precision current output converters designed to transmit analog 4-to-20mA signals over an industry standard current loop. They provide accurate current scaling and output current limit functions. The on-chip voltage regulator (5V) can be used to power external circuitry. A precision on-chip VREF (2.5V for XTR115 and 4.096V for XTR116) can be used for offsetting or to excite transducers. A current return pin (IRET) senses any current used in external circuitry to assure an accurate control of the output current. The XTR115 is a fundamental building block of smart sensors using 4-to-20mA current transmission. The XTR115 and XTR116 are specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range, –40°C to +85°C.

UAF42 is a universal active filter that can be configured for a wide range of low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass filters. It uses a classic state-variable analog architecture with an inverting amplifier and two integrators. The integrators include on-chip 1000pF capacitors trimmed to 0.5%. This architecture solves one of the most difficult problems of active filter design—obtaining tight tolerance, low-loss capacitors. A DOS-compatible filter design program allows easy implementation of many filter types, such as Butterworth, Bessel, and Chebyshev. A fourth, uncommitted FET-input op amp (identical to the other three) can be used to form additional stages, or for special filters such as band-reject and Inverse Chebyshev.

The XTR117 is a precision current output converter designed to transmit analog 4-20mA signals over an industry-standard current loop. It provides accurate current scaling and output current limit functions.
