MCP131X/2X is a series of voltage supervisor devices introduced by Microchip Technology Inc., designed to keep a microcontroller in Reset until the system voltage has reached and stabilized at the proper level for reliable system operation. This family of devices also offers a Watchdog Timer to monitor system operation and a Manual Reset input.
The TC1014/TC1015/TC1185 are high accuracy (typical ±0.5%) CMOS upgrades for older (bipolar) Low Dropout Regulators (LDOs) such as the LP2980. Designed specifically for battery-operated systems, the devices’ CMOS construction eliminates wasted ground current, significantly extending battery life. Total supply current is typically 50 µA at full load (20 to 60 times lower than in bipolar regulators). The devices’ key features include ultra low-noise operation (plus optional Bypass input), fast response to step changes in load, and very low dropout voltage, typically 85 mV (TC1014), 180 mV (TC1015), and 270 mV (TC1185) at full-load. Supply current is reduced to 0.5 µA (max) and VOUT falls to 1% of input voltage or less under full load.
The rfRXD0420/0920 is a single conversion superheterodyne receiver from Microchip Technology Inc. It has low cost, good compatibility, easy interface, and is suitable for wireless remote control and command, wireless security systems, wireless keyless entry systems and other applications.
The TC4404/TC4405 are CMOS buffer drivers with complementary MOS outputs and independent connections to the pull-up and pull-down sections of the output to allow the insertion of drain-current-limiting resistors. These devices are superior to the previously used technique of adding a diode-resistor combination between the driver output and the MOSFET, because they allow accurate control of turn-ON, while allowing fast-OFF operation in motor-control applications.
