The ADG466 and ADG467 from Analog Devices are triple and octal channel protectors, respectively, that protect sensitive components from voltage transients in the signal path regardless of the presence or absence of the power supplies. Since the channel protection works regardless of whether the supplies are present, the channel protectors are ideal for use in applications where correct power sequencing cannot always be guaranteed (e.g., hot-insertion rack systems) to protect analog inputs. This is discussed further, and some example circuits are given in the Applications section of this data sheet.

ADG333A is a quad SPDT switch chip produced by Analog Devices. The chip works at a voltage of 44V and supports VSS to VDD analog signals. The switching time of the switch chip is tON<175ns, tOFF<145ns, and the switching loss is 5nA. ADG333A can be applied to audio and video switching, battery-powered systems, test equipment and communication systems.

The ADG791A/ADG791G is a 2:1 multiplexer from Analog Devices that supports the I2C interface, has a bandwidth of 325MHz, low insertion loss and on resistance, and can be used in S-video RGB/YPbPr video switches, HDTVs, projection TVs, DVD-R/RW AV receivers, etc.

The ADG633 is a low voltage CMOS device comprising three independently selectable SPDT (single pole double throw) switches. They are fully specified for ±5 V, +5 V, and +3 V supplies. The ADG633 switches are turned on with VDD and VDD and through two independent inputs the switch is put in the on or off state. When Vin is higher than Vref, switch 1 is turned on, when Vin is lower than Vref, switch 2 is turned on. All three switches can be turned on or off simultaneously.

The ADG1433 and ADG1434 are monolithic industrial CMOS (iCMOS®) analog switches comprising three independently selectable single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switches and four independently selectable SPDT switches, respectively. All channels exhibit 4.7 Ω maximum on resistance, 0.5 Ω on resistance flatness, 3 V logic-compatible inputs, up to 115 mA of continuous current per channel, rail-to-rail operation, break-before-make switching action, and 16-/20-lead TSSOP and 4 mm × 4 mm LFCSP_VQ packages.

The ADG1233 and ADG1234 are monolithic iCMOS analog switches comprising three independently selectable single-pole, double throw SPDT switches and four independently selectable SPDT switches, respectively. All channels exhibit break-before-make switching action preventing momentary short.

The ADG736 is a low voltage 2.5Ω dual SPDT switch suitable for applications with a single supply voltage of 1.8V to 5.5V. It features low resistance, high bandwidth, fast switching times, and TTL/CMOS compatibility.

The ADG636 is available in a 14-lead TSSOP package and is suitable for applications such as automatic test equipment, data acquisition systems, battery-powered instruments, communication systems, sample-and-hold systems, remote-powered equipment, audio and video signal routing, relay replacement, and avionics.
