The AD5932 is a waveform generator from AD company. It supports frequency scanning and can generate analog or digital frequency stepped waveforms. The device uses embedded digital processing technology to achieve enhanced frequency control. Since the frequency is pre-programmed, continuous write cycles are eliminated, thereby freeing up valuable DSP/microcontroller resources.
