About this manual

The XCMA01-010716 anti‑dermatophyte mouse monoclonal antibody is supplied as a purified IgG1, kappa antibody (1 mg/ml) in PBS with 0.09 % sodium azide. It is intended for laboratory research use only, primarily for immunohistology on paraffin‑ or ethanol‑fixed tissues at a working dilution of 1:100.

The antibody specifically binds a polysaccharide on the cell walls of dermatophytes such as Trichophyton, Microsporum and Epidermophyton, and also reacts with several Aspergillus and Penicillium species. It does not react with Malassezia or common yeasts. Recommended storage is 2‑5 °C for up to one month or –20 °C for long‑term storage with glycerol added to prevent freezing.
