This manual explains the features, preparation, usage methods, and safety precautions for ShineGene SYBR Green I and GoldView DNA fluorescent dyes.
SYBR Green I is a highly sensitive DNA fluorescence dye suitable for various electrophoresis methods, offering detection of as little as 20 pg DNA and a signal‑to‑noise ratio 25‑100 times higher than ethidium bromide. The dye binds strongly to double‑stranded DNA, enhancing fluorescence 800‑1000‑fold, and can be used for pre‑staining or post‑staining without inhibiting common enzymes.
GoldView DNA dye is a non‑carcinogenic alternative to ethidium bromide with sensitivity comparable to SYBR Green I. It emits green fluorescence for double‑stranded DNA and orange‑red for single‑stranded DNA under UV light. The dye is compatible with the same protocols as SYBR Green I and is recommended for safer laboratory use. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Detection limit | 20 pg DNA |
|---|---|

| Recommended PCR dye concentration | 0.2×‑1× final |
| Mg2+ increase for qPCR | 0.5‑3 mM higher |
SYBR Green I can detect as little as 20 pg of DNA.
Wear gloves because the dye can cause slight skin and eye irritation.
Increase Mg2+ concentration by 0.5‑3 mM compared with reactions without SYBR Green I.
