Rohde & Schwarz FSVR real-time spectrum analyzer captures brief RF events up to 40 GHz with spectrogram, persistence, and frequency mask trigger features.
The R&S®FSVR is a real-time spectrum analyzer that combines signal and spectrum analysis with real-time capabilities up to 40 GHz. It captures brief RF events using spectrogram, persistence mode, and frequency mask trigger. It also offers full-featured signal analysis for GSM, LTE, and other modulation methods. The instrument features touchscreen operation, fast measurement speed, and expandable frequency range up to 110 GHz with external mixers.
The FSVR includes real-time streaming of I/Q data, power versus time display, and a 100,000-trace spectrogram memory. It supports triggering on spectral events and offers measurement software for noise figure and phase noise. The analyzer is designed for RF engineering applications, including troubleshooting interference and characterizing transmitters.
| Frequency Range | 10 Hz to 7/13.6/30/40 GHz |
|---|---|
| Real-Time Analysis Bandwidth | 40 MHz |
| Spectrogram Memory Depth | 100,000 traces |
| Screen Update Rate | 30/s |
| Minimum Detectable Signal Duration | 25 ns (nom.) |
| A/D Converter | 128 Msample/s, 16 bit |
| Real-Time RF Bandwidth | 100 Hz to 40 MHz |
| Maximum Input Frequency | 110 GHz (with external mixers) |
The real-time analysis bandwidth is 40 MHz, supporting spectrum with persistence, spectrogram, and power versus time display.
The frequency mask trigger responds to events in the spectrum; if a spectrum violates the predefined mask, the instrument triggers a response and stops the measurement either immediately or after a selectable follow-up period.
The maximum input frequency is 110 GHz with external mixers.
