The OmniSite XR50 alarm monitor is a cellular‑based device that remotely monitors equipment and sends alerts via email, pager or voice call.
About this manual
The XR50 provides remote monitoring of equipment and machinery without dedicated telephone lines or proprietary radio systems. It uses cellular GSM technology and a web‑based interface, sending notifications by e‑mail, pager or voice call when an abnormal condition occurs. Features include microprocessor‑based alarm monitoring, pulse totalization, daily run‑time reports, and a plug‑and‑play GuardDog web interface.
Installation is simple, requiring only power (12 VDC or 120 VAC) and connection of universal inputs (12 VAC/VDC – 120 VAC/VDC). The unit fits in a NEMA 4X enclosure, measures 8.9"H × 9.4"W × 3.5"D, and operates from –20 °F to 150 °F with 0‑90 % RH humidity. Memory is selectable from 32 Mb to 1 Gb, and the backlit LCD displays status information.
