The BrilliantDye™ Terminator Cycle Sequencing Kits are based on the Sanger Chain Termination method and are designed for research use. They are compatible with ABI genetic analyzers and available in two versions, v1.1 and v3.1, with specific dye sets for each. The kits include a ready-reaction premix, sequencing buffer, pGem control, and M13(-21) primer. They are optimized for high-quality sequencing data with uniform peak heights and long reads.

The v1.1 version is designed for specialty applications requiring optimal basecalling adjacent to the primer, while the v3.1 version is ideal for the longest reads.
