The OTS60SX is a semi‑automatic oil dielectric strength test set designed for field use. It provides a maximum output of 60 kV and displays results on a bright LED screen. The instrument is microprocessor‑controlled, allowing selection of voltage rise rates to match various national standards, and includes an automatic 1‑minute timer for withstand testing.
Optional vessels with spherical, mushroom or cylindrical electrodes (some with stirrers) enable testing to a wide range of specifications. Safety features include a strong polycarbonate window, a mesh screen, and an interlock on the chamber door. The unit is powered from selectable mains supplies and is housed in a rugged steel enclosure.
