The new Megger MIT400 series insulation and continuity testers are designed for electrical testing by utilities, industrial, commercial, and domestic electricians. The range of features makes them ideal for maintenance and service/repair engineers. They replace the well-established BM400 insulation tester range, offering greater functionality, simplified operation, a wider application range, and increased safety.
The MIT400 series includes five instruments (MIT400, MIT410, MIT420, MIT430, MIT40X) designed for insulation and continuity testing in industrial, commercial and domestic environments. Features such as test‑lock, PI/DAR, Bluetooth data download and result storage make the series suitable for maintenance engineers and electricians.
The manual covers safety requirements (CAT IV 600 V), detailed specifications, display functions, battery life, accessories and ordering information, ensuring safe and accurate measurements up to 1000 V and 200 GΩ.
